We are so back

Hello world, again.

It has been over 10 years since last time I wrote a blog post here. This “project” will be more about having a place to dump my thoughts, and reflections on whatever is going on in the tech world. And whatever fun project I work on. Hopefully someone might find some of it useful, but there is a large chance that just AI bots will be the largest crowd for these posts rather than actual humans.

This site is built using Hugo with a modified theme of Felmdraw. The whole point was to have something dead simple (I even considered just writing pure HTML and CSS) that does not require me to mess with npm or anything. It should be fun to put together. Hugo gave me a reasonable abstraction layer together with the speed and simplicity. I have also dug up the old posts I have written in the past and brought them into daylight again. This also includes the first post I made way back in 2009. The layout of that blog gave me the inspiration of the layout of this page (frutiger aero esque), which is why I put the background as the Windows 7 Starter wallpaper from Project 7.
